One of the most exciting sporting events of the year is the National Finals Rodeo, commonly referred to by fans as NFR. Sponsored by Wrangler Jeans, it’s slated to be held from December, 6th to December, 15th in Las Vegas, NV at the Thomas and Mack Center. Most, if not all, of the top rodeo stars will compete with one another to be crowned as the kings, or queens, of their sport. The NFR is a big deal and that’s why ticket prices are high, ranging from $70 to as much as $1500. If that ticket price is too much for you, yet you still want to watch the biggest rodeo event of the year, continue reading about how to watch the NFR online.

One way to watch the NFR online is to head to CBSsports.com, which is the official broadcaster of the National Finals Rodeo. Throughout the 10 day rodeo, CBS will showcase a variety of content on the event from steer wrestling to bull riding, roping, barrel racing, team roping, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, and many others that always have fans of rodeo sitting at the edge of their feet. Each day the NFR takes place, CBS will show the rounds of the different events occurring on that specific day. And, there are usually hours and hours of rodeo action to watch each day. In order to see the NFR on CBS, you need to have a CBS account and paid cable subscription if you want to be able to access premium NFR content.
A second way to tune into the NFR online is to visit ProRodeo and buy a member subscription. ProRodeo offers the only “official” online stream broadcast of the NFR in 2018. Now being that ProRodeo offers the “official” online streaming content of the NFR, watching it on this website comes with a price tag of $79.99 if you use a specific code you can find on the NFR website to purchase it. What’s nice about paying this $79.99 is that this payment doesn’t just include being able to access the NFR. Nope, this fee is actually a yearly subscription that includes being able to watch all other content on the website for an entire year. So, if you’re a huge fan of rodeo, then this is a great deal for you to access all sorts of awesome rodeo events.
Logging on to the PRCA Wrangler Network is a third and final way that you can watch the NFR on the Internet. That’s right, Wrangler Jeans actually has its own streaming website where you can not only watch the different events of the NFR, but it also shows video clips and highlights of other rodeo contests of the past and the present. For example, you can log on and see greatest highlights of all time of rodeo greats Shawn Davis, Jim Houston, and Harry Tompkins. Or, you can check out the most recent highlights from the latest event if you don’t want to watch the greats checking out the daily Pendleton Roundup. If that wasn’t enough, the Wrangler Network also has schedules, standings, music, full films, and other content cowboys would love.
As you can see, there are a wide variety of ways to watch the NFR online. So, when it comes around on December 6th, you’ll be ready to take all the rodeo action that you want without having to pay the high ticket prices.
